I understand every sentiment you just expressed. And yes, some people are indeed too 'purist' to understand many things, but by your writing here, you're not in that camp. Heck, I used to be 'purist' to a fault myself. But as you say, purity IS the dream, and a good one, while acknowledging as well that it ain't gonna happen, not anytime soon.
