If you read Rockwell's books, by his account he was in fact attacked, mocked and heckled by jewish thugs and mobs constantly during his speeches. One thing that didn't change at all since then is that the police was right there, making sure the jews and their stooges don't get hurt because the second Rockwell boys try to retaliate, they'd get jailed before they even knock down one nose on the asphalt.
