This is true for me. The only reason I go slowly with normies and family is so I don't scare them away.
Most recently, I was having a brief discussion of central banking and a relative said it was dangerous to listen to people who criticize jews because that leads to hate. I responded with "I don't care about a person's race or religion, if they do something harmful I'll discuss it." They responded with "that sounds antisemitic." The seed was sown. Why is noticing the sins of a group seen as bad?
I would have asked if they are jewish.
