The dimensions of the graves were far beyond the capability of the dragline to excavate them. 3. Whole cadavers were exhumed by a clamshell bucket equipped dragline. 4. Up to 3,000 cadavers were cremated at a time using only twigs, brush, camp detritus or enough wood to build some small campfires for fuel.
