They never did it again because that day was fucking glorious for white people across the city. Beaners didn't expect that reaction and soon realized it had backfired badly. Same reason they never had another May Day rally. For us older folks we remember the streets filled with millions of them waving Mexican flags and telling reporters how Mexico was taking back what was theirs. They never had another one of those either.
They were protesting proposed legislation that would have made using forged documents and aiding drug trafficking have longer sentences, required all documents supporting assylum/citizenship applications be checked for forgery, and made providing housing to a previously-deported alien a felony.
Funny how all that good common sense legislation turned into (((sanctuary cities))) isn’t it.
