Got me thinking. What if we prohibit Ashkenazis from calling themselves "Jews" on the grounds that they have very little genetic claim to Judaism? It's cultural appropriation, right? Sure, they can claim to follow the Judaic religion, but they are not even Semitic, they are almost entirely of Eastern European blood. They are no more real Jews than the negroes of Ethiopia, who also claim to be Jewish. The Israelis rejected the Ethiopian black Jews and sent them back to Africa, so maybe we should reject the Ashkenazis and send them back to the Caspian Sea, or wherever they came from.
