There's a reason Judaism was considered the first truly feminist religion a VERY long time ago; it has allowances for abortion.
The fetus is deemed a "part of its mother" rather than an independent entity.
Jews have been okay with murdering babies for hundreds of years if not over 1,000 (but I am not familiar with when the rabbinical consensus was reached and in which tractate - should be listed in that .pdf, above).
