Twilight zone always left me feeling uneasy after watching old black and white episodes as a young boy. While watching an episode today I wondered if it was designed to infect the mind's of viewers, so I looked to early life section for an explanation. It seems curious that 1960 peak American White culture would be entertained by this weird show that had ratings so bad that it was in danger of being cancelled during the first season. Charles Beaumont was another writer for Twilight Zone first season. His young step mother cross dressed Charles when he was a boy. He died in his early thirties from dementia related illness.
