It predates the Talmud.
The Torah are the 5 books of Moses, the histories, and the prophesies given before Christ.
The Talmud is a collection of hyperlegalistic arguments between rabis that was written after the Torah. It's effectively a product of rabis reading into the Torah what they want and reading out of it what they want. The primary purpose was to give power to the rabis through legalist interpretation and to conjure arguments they could use to selectively apply the Torah. This is exactly what Christ criticized them for in the gospels.
It predates the Torah.
The writings in the old testament / Jewish Bible are ancient and taken from many cultures and a lot more than five authors.
