Feminism was part of what killed the ability of a lone man to support family. It pushed more and more women into the workforce essentially doubling the number of individuals competing for food, housing and employment thereby jacking up the prices to the point where women en masse can no longer afford to be be stay at home mothers and men can no longer comfortably support their families on a single income.
