they have the same nose as arabs which is because of less moisture in desert terrain. similar reason as to why some africans have huge nostrils. but jews look closer to arabs than turks or other steppe peoples, so it's highly likely they evolved around the northern arabia region. a lot of people say they are bedouins using this same logic.
also when you live in a desert region and have nothing to do all day and clear night skies to study the stars you're much more likely to dedicate all your brain power to formulating superstitious nonsense instead of producing anything of tangible value.
