He “died” during its post production after being pressed to submit a cut to (((Warner Bros))) for nudity releases from Cruise and Kidman, and it was unfinished per his friends and collaborators, Michael Herr and Garrett Brown. His family claims otherwise, but they’ve often been cagey with the press.
It also (((just happened))) to release the same weekend as JFK Jr’s plane “mysteriously” crashed.
