True story. Worked for a rabbi. He worked, drove, and performed other duties on Sundays. Also, as part of the ‘unwritten’ job duties, I was to have lunch with him every day. (He had no “friends” and since I did not defer to him as a congregant would, he appreciated my candor at these “lunch meetings”.) Once, while having lunch, he ordered shrimp. A congregant walks in for lunch, and he quickly switches our plates lol. Also, had a shrimp buffet at his daughter’s wedding. Oy vey what a hypocrite. 14 years after leaving that job, he still sends me a Harry and David package each Christmas.
What's a harry and david package?
They peddle sweets, crackers, mustards, fruits, etc.
Delicious.
I legitimately believe this story.
Can't tell if you are being sarcastic or not, but it is indeed true. AMA. Worked for him for 7 years.
Should have said sincerely? I do believe you.
