My position on the abomination of desolation depends on the passage in question. So, imo, it DOES refer to Antiochus Epiphanes in Daniyl 11.
Some link the "overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate" in Daniyl 9, the 70 weeks prophecy, to another event. My position is the 70 weeks prophecy is fulfilled ... see https://yliyahmessagetime.wordpress.com/2020/09/01/daniyls-70-weeks-fulfilled-in-34-a-d-any-other-claim-of-extending-it-is-blasphemy-against-yahshuas-finished-work/ What the ABOMINATIONS in question are here is the mongrel Edomite "jews" had taken over the religious institutes and puppet government ... hence "Herod" all of whom were "Idumeans", i.e. EDOMITES claiming to be "jews". Mongrels are forbidden in Yahweh's congregation, Deut. 23:2. That not "kind after kind" is an "abomination". The entire system, because of mongrelization, had to be made DESOLATE, and Yahshua accomplished just that. You can read how in that article.
