What matters is orthodoxy or heresy. If the Eastern Churches use Scriptures based on Aramaic, what does it matter if their teaching is sound? The entirety of the Christian people were of one accord for 1,000 years before the Schism unless you include those who departed after Chalcedon, but even then the Copts and Orthodox and Catholic Churches are pretty close in actual practice and belief, especially when one drills down into the theology of their teachings. A huge portion of the schisms with the Apostolic Churches boils down to language and definition misunderstandings.
I'm Catholic and have friends who are Copts and Orthodox and we get along just fine, because theological hair splitting doesn't help Christian brotherhood. Sitting around and shouting anathemas at each other gets us nowhere, and besides, that's what the bishops get paid to do.
Also, the Orthodox Study Bible in my library is essentially an alteration of the New King James with additional books.
