After looking into it more, I do not think Winston Churchill's mother was Jewish (or partly). The sole source for the claim, even from David Irwin, is from Moshe Kohn, in the Jerusalem Post, and it offers no proof of the nonchalant assertion (it may have been a sarcastic nod to some rumour). Unless anyone has any other evidence?
