The pharmaceutical industry is notorious for releasing and pushing dangerous "products" that have a tendency to cause more problems than they allegedly solve. IIRC the largest settlements in US history were against pharmaceutical companies. The shitlibs used to push the notion that pharmaceutical companies do not have a profit incentive to cure people, instead there is an incentive to treat symptoms and even worse make people sick to continue to sell product. They weren't wrong which is why that narrative has all but been erased from the NPC shitlib mind, the only people you really see putting that forward now are Nazis.
