Barcode doesn't tell you the full picture - it identifies the country the company comes from but not where it is manufactured/made.

The image is false. But, it does help you identify the product's company's country (US company, Chinese company, etc.). Hope that helps.

Look for "made in" and "assembled in" stamps to help you get the fully informed picture. I try to avoid Chinese products, for example.
