Fascism is about freedoms but for a VERY specific group. Be it civic nationalist like Mussolini or racial nationalist like Hitler.

Fascism doesn't exist. It's an arbitrary label under which everyone sticks a completely different list of things and calls it fascism.

It isn't even correct to call it authoritarianism BECAUSE if you assemble a set of beliefs into a coherent ideological framework, this ideological framework must survive the evolutionary competitive pressures in order to grow and spread. The FASTEST way to give your ideological framework survival advantage is to apply as much force as humanly possible juuuuuust up to the point before people start reject your ideological framework.

This is just natural evolutionary competitive pressure of an ideological framework applying survival pressure. If we were to assemble the values of everyone here into an ideological framework, we too would apply force, pressure and fascistic dogmatic vision towards things such as miscagenation, sexual deviancy, family rights, freedom of speech, freedom of thought, freedom of association, borders, trade, etc.

There is no possible ideological framework that doesn't require the application of force / fascism because that is the point of an ideological framework. An ideological framework is supposed to identify the best set of parameters to maximize the happiness of a group and apply the right kind of evolutionary pressure on a group to procreate, expand and maximize it's genetic expression.

The only ideological framework that doesn't apply force as part of its survival strategy is a dead ideological framework.

This isn’t controlled opposition. This is so called moderates who would just die if someone called them right wing who have a pathological need to be agreeable and “a nice guy” and a liberal thinker, but are revulsed by the far left and the tyrannical neo-liberal ruling class.

It is really hard to place his true intentions.

What is most important here isn't if he is one of them. Everyone is one of them. What is truly important is to learn how to learn and extract all the real information from every source that we can and synthesize our way to the greater truth. If JP is a stepping stone on this road, so be it.

People love to throw the baby out with the bathwater here. I don't know if it's a legit part of the community or just an attempt at being subversive but you're being foolish if you're looking at JP to answer society-wide problems. People will bitch about this but JP is great at what he does, which is to help individuals rise to the challenge of taking on the burden of existence. For many people, myself included, this was a critical step in my awakening, and that looking internally into who I am was necessary before I was able to understand how other people worked, and how society works.

If you're looking to him to solve the worlds problems you're going to be bitterly disappointing. If you look to him to help get your own train-wreck of a life in order he's extremely valuable.
