This series ran from 1962 until 1971 and mocked rural white people to great profit and amusement of the (((elites))). It was a huge ratings success yet I suspect the reason was most Americans related to the "hillbillies" outsmarting the (((elites))) who mocked them mercilessly nevertheless were outsmarted in most episodes.
