You mean he is dying of COVID-19 in the ICU but had his phone with him and the strength to text right before dying? Why text instead of facetime? Such a bullshit story. Just like the other one of the people dying yet having the breath to beg for the vaccine?

But it needs some juice - how about:

The father of 5 lay dying, droplets of sweat pouring off his forehead and stinging his eyes, as he sighed with regret wishing he'd gotten that shot that provided no safety, no immunity, no benefit whatsoever. His gaze absent-mindedly looked out the window, where a breeze was blowing leaves down the nearby gravel road. And, as he took his last breaths, he shakily grabbed his smartphone and, with a determination that only comes when you know your end is near, he texted his final words to his girlfriend about how he wished he'd been smart enough to take the jab.
