Absolutely true. It's very apparent in chains. A shill wont care about context, and will keep posting bullshit, even if it completely derails from the discussion. Their canned responses leave no room for nuance.

Keep in mind that these 'bots' are anything but. Usually you have software that pops up a comment for the user to reply to, who in turn has a bazillion macros. Think of it as what customer service agents do when responding to tickets. At least this is what we know from ex-shills, things might have escalated since.

EDIT: another red flag is random other users popping in with the same talking points deep down a comment chain. Grabbing more accounts for consensus cracking is common, and harder to see on more populated sites.

Given enough data from those shills you could have an AI program itself to run those macros instead of the shill. I suspect this is already happening due to how some people/bots respond to shit.
