Covid certainly irked the curiosity of many people. I think people have realized that a lot of things are distractions, hiding the reality. But, people are social animals and they have a hard time getting to the bottom of something that goes against the narrative without getting pulled back to the usual distractions other people seem to be into. It's also a lot of seemingly extra work for someone who may be caught up in the rat race. Also, not to mention, average people don't like to read or do in-depth research.
I think the best we can do now is to inform the normies of the current covid hypocrisies. Even these skilled politicians can't keep up with their lies when seen from the scrutiny of increasingly skeptical populace. And then just insert that if they can lie to our faces and get away with it, even the history, like the Holocaust, may have been manipulated by these hypocrites.
Pointing out every day hypocrisies as often as possible will be enough to make anyone question the legitimacy of things that they were told through the authority figures. Doubt is a good seed to plant in the minds that were carefully brainwashed.
