every story i have heard them tell (Egypt, Esther/Purim, WWII), is that when their grifting & evil deeds start catching up to them, they pre-emptively kill the noticers...then they celebrate 'escaping persecution'. Apparently since before Jesus, their writings talk about how non-Jews are born hating them for no reason.
