They are in contact with their masters by telepathy and astral projection. They also channel these beings into Earth, allowing them easier access to manifest themselves or their will. This is done through the Hebrew "Tetragrammaton".

In the same manner, one can contact the Pagan gods as well. One can do this by focusing on their sigil and speaking into it. However, if your astral senses are not open, you will not hear a response. Instead, the Gods will try to communicate with signs or other subconscious guides.
