I have friends that were entry-level red-pilled by listening to Shapiro. At least far enough to realize the left is insane. But it's taken a lot of work to get them to realize Shapiro has no interest in preserving individual liberties and only cares about what happens to white people, Christians, and Western Civilization as far as it benefits Israel.
