They might not have gotten blacklisted without the staring. Anyone would look creepy doing that. They weren’t alone. they could have talked to each other.

This may be the first time that place had to blacklist any women. Most unattractive women would have avoided it. Having no one approach you while other women are getting attention would be humiliating. Unattractive women would rather not go through that. The free dinner is not worth it.
