In the official footage the jet approaching drowns out the traffic, this is clearly visible in the waveform, in the "no plane" video the traffic noise looks all uniform right up until the jet noise would come up in the official audio, the waveforms are smaller because the jet noise was filtered out from the exact same section of audio, it's an edit of the official source.
