Yeah as our backyard ones are getting older they are more paranoid, the skunks pretty friendly though. I think it's because I yelled at the big raccoon that was hissing at it and ran off when I yelled and the skunk looked at me and I went "It's OK Stinkybutt" and he seemed to calm immediately kind of looked relieved now that the coon ran off and I was so nice to him.

Skunks are great pets and smarter then cats. I would take a pet skunk over most other animals.
