A local man dared to criticize the decision on Twitter, and activists reported him to his employer. On May 5, RE/MAX Canada announced the man had been fired, even though he had apologized for the message.

The Canadian Anti-Hate Network (CAHN), which was founded with a grant from the far-left smear factory the Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC), proceeded to share this tweet and tag RE/MAX Canada in an effort to get Hooda fired. CAHN also filed complaints with the Real Estate Council of Ontario and the Immigration Consultants of Canada Regulatory Council.

Is there any reason conservatives couldn't do things like this?

If you look at the CAHN tweets, they really don't have that many supporters. Maybe a few hundred to just over 1,000.

Imagine a random lefty making a tweet supporting pedophilia, or hating on Christianity, or saying all men are scum. Then dozens of conservatives save that tweet and send a record of it to their employer and every group they're a member of, as well as filing complaints with upper-level institutions.

You can say maybe their employer and the relevant institutions wouldn't care. But it would still raise awareness about the leftist's transgression and make them feel shame for doing it.

If confronted, conservatives can easily make statements about how they're "standing against hate" and point out how leftists do exactly the same thing, illustrating a double standard.

Another idea: could conservatives reach out to people who have been dogpiled by leftists like this, and offer them encouragement and support?
