The good will be the exposure of corporatists and head hunters working together to use H1-Bs to discriminate against American workers by reducing American employment, salaries and excellence. Corporations save wages, benefits and can dictate terms with non-Americans on H1-Bs. Elevating this into a national discussion brings sunlight to what has (I think unconstitutionally) transpired. Bring on the lawsuits and Federal investigations! Elected officials need to know this is not okay with Americans and we give Trump the support needed to put an end to it.
Americans First, then if we need more talent, we can discuss the use of H1-Bs to fill that void.

I've lived it. I saw H1-Bs in my workplace back in the day. They were protected by corporate and we were essentially told to nurture them. That never set well with me.
The issue has never been elevated to a national discussion with all sides represented before. Now there will be opportunity to explore, discuss and remedy this inequity. Trump enabled this, and it was long overdue.
