My understanding is that Trump wants to be the world leader in AI and there are not enough brlliant American engineers projected to be available/able/capable to accomplish and hold the lead in AI technology. We will need to import their absolute best to help us get there in a hurry.
What a crock. There is tons of smart White men who could do this, but of course Trump goes with the non-Whites that absolutely suck and take jobs from Whites.

There are tons. But we will need more to become the leader and distance all others in this s emerging field. Tapping the very best specified talent from a friendly 1.45B population in addition to the US 350M population is not a bad idea when countering the AI efforts of the rest of the world. It's a new frontier and a matter of National Security, like the Manhattan Project. Every White man with the training and talent needed will be fully engaged. We don't have years to educate enough American AI developers that we essentially need now.

au contraire! I want US domination of AI in order to protect America and by extension the world from rogue AI ... as long as US leadership straightens up and acts right. Superior AI in the hands of evil will be very bad for everyone.
