This reminds me, when I lived in the city I used to see a bunch of Mexicans holding a gigantic sign outside of a business that said "Shame on ( business name ) "
They all looked so disinterested and were even sitting in chairs holding the gigantic sign while texting/bored. A few weeks later they were holding the sign again in front of a different company with that other company's name on the sign.
I looked into it and it turns out that someone was paying them basically minimum wage to spend a day just holding their sign. It was a complete scam designed to look like people were legitimately protesting the company.
This is basically what we're seeing here in this example. People paid to pose for cameras.
Crisis actors between jobs?
I saw that all during the 90's in the south-west.
Found a picture I had of one here (pic8.co). Looking at it now it must have been the Unions being assholes.
It was definitely a same union going business to business picketing. I remember that a few businesses they were in front of were non union shops.
