If you own a "smart" tv never give it internet access.

Exactly. That was going to be my comment. I want all appliances i own to be dumb. I don't want my router to have a ton of devices on it. To be safe, I also run Pi-hole.

About this sub

This is for all that connected crap you see that makes you go why? Bluetooth connected egg trays, dishwashers with internet connectivity, every device that could happily run locally but requires a back-end server to even turn on. All of that goes here so we can make fun of it.

This sub is for the hardware and software of the Internet that doesn't need to be of the Internet. It's the "standby" light on a pencil, or the stupidity of overreach.
