I'm sincerely assuming this is bullshit propaganda so as to facilitate interesting in their garbage. Seriously, what is there that's worth pirating?

Everyone whose anadote I could provide to the question: "why did you decide to pay for a streaming service" has "convenient access to classic content library" in their answer. Sometimes that was followed up by "no advertising" or "high quality stream".

Since streaming is now turning back into boomervision, I understand the 'return' to piracy.

"anecdote". Or quite possibly, "antidote".

Techdirt has always been a strange website. I noticed a long time ago that they tend to be correct in reporting, per se, but not necessarily to the depth or scope of the problems they report.
