I was trying to find the original photo or similar photo from a meme without any text on it.

Jewgle results were worthless plus it nags you to install their google app to use the feature.

Bing results were shit. Bing has also morphed into a spam page of every “A.I.” feature they can think of.

Yandex delivered a payload of everything I could have wanted. Really impressive. Plus, Yandex will happily supply you with good results for any nigger or jew search you can throw at it.

joogle blocked me from searching images.

I’ve been using Yandex for over a year and it perfectly fills my expectations.

Blocked you? Please tell me more.

I’ve had YouTube accounts blocked because I couldn’t help myself in comments sometimes but the rest of those accounts will still work for email and all that jazz.

If I search for anything and click images, it doesn’t show a single one, like when there’s no result.

I don’t really care because their results suck so much.

You don’t like looking up “2023 science awards” and seeing niggers in Apefrica holding up a sail foam make out of mud?

yandex for the win. mojeek isn't too bad either. Not great for images but decent for searches other engines hide.

We used to have our own custom Searx instance.

I might bring it back, later.

Can confirm. Yandex pulls up the fake holocaust photos that are accepted as real and does so on the first page.

I've been using tineye to search by a source image for years and years now. I don't really know how well anyone competes because they do a good job.

Thought they sold out to israelis

Agreed. I have had this link (yandex.com) bookmarked for a while now. This is also bookmarked (yandex.com) for general searches.

I feel more comfortable letting Russians get my info than anyone based in my home country. Ain’t that some shit?

The Five Eyes are going to get it, regardless. It's just that Yandex works better.

So does it contain ads like the joogle store says?

I’ve got dns blocking ads and extensions as well so my experience may vary from others but there are no annoyances for me.

What IS annoying is if I try to default anything to Yandex, I have never figured out how to get it to load in English and use imperial. It always goes through the Russian version of the site. Even making an account, I see no way to tell it to default to USA, English, Imperial.

(This is all in reference to my mobile experience.)

FF has a good translate extension, I use it on rutracker

I do too! I use ru for boxing torrents.

Dns blocking ads, what's that?

You can set it up on your own router or (basically) give your data away to companies like AdGuard to do it for you.

There are crowd sourced lists of ip addresses that get updated which blocks the majority of ads and annoyances. Very effective. And filtering through dns works for apps on your smartphone which makes life a lot nicer.
