For the past few weeks my default search engine has been which uses for their video results.

This is the longest I’ve been able to use a default search other than Google and I’ve tried them all. I know people like but I just couldn’t use it as my default.

Gibiru promises unbiased, unfiltered results as well as enhanced privacy. I can’t argue those claims if you’re putting it against using Google directly as your search engine, but Gibiru does use Google for the results. It seems the strip down the tracking and add in the black listed sites which I like.

The video search through PeteyVid is nice as it brings up results I’d not see on google/bing/yahoo/brave. It’s a challenge to find mainstream videos, but you’ll find a lot of deep hits for stuff google, etc. filter by default as a part of their agendas.

Anyway, I was looking for some recent content for the s/tollpaid sub on there and thought it was cool to see Poal.

Thanks for this. I've noticed that almost all search engines won't allow me to download pngs anymore with the blank background and I'll have to cut them out myself. Started happening about 6 months ago, but downloaded 4 from gibiru just to test and worked fine. Also, they do not censor "angry jew png" searches like most others do.

Right on. If you ever need to quickly remove backgrounds and don’t need hi-res, I use remove.bg all the time. It’s effective.

I use those tools for shit posting my memes and video clips. For work purposes, not so much.
