The EFF blames automatic systems and never considers or admits this was by design. People love blaming abstract ideas like "the computer", "the system", "the company", etc. Eventually, decisions are made by someone. PayPal hides behind automated systems, but someone made that decision and are shielded by corporate automation systems and policy.

I had an online company that sold military style clothing and tactical gear. No firearms or ammo. PayPal shut me off. It was a major blow. At that time there weren’t very many reputable or known alternatives.

Maybe because (((TOR))) is a CIA honeypot and is a solved system where all important nodes (I forget what they're called but they confirm integrity or something) are owned by glows.

Though this is just an instance of both sides.
