zeronet is based on p2p downloads and TOR i think. it runs in the background and is accessed by a normal browser via urls with 127.0.0.1:4444/xxxx

not sure if zeronet uses blockchain, maybe for the addresses?`

im just reading about this - i was gonna say why arent we all on zeronet? this looks awesome... but it looks like you have to do a bunch of bullshit just to install it

it has sites like zeromail, zerochat and zeromessage which is a reddit-like discussion site

it is still pretty unknown, but i tried it recently again after someone mentioned in an answer to my question what "alternative" tech sites and services did you know?

it is kind of darknet, but not as much as TOR and it is quite easy to use, you just install and run the background client and register an identity
