Bullshit. That chunk of quartz is contaminated with iron and it is clearly visible in one portion of the piece. The quartz is also cloudy which would not happen to that extent if the crystal grew in solution since crystallization excludes naturally excludes contaminants which is why chemists use crystallization to purify materials during synthesis. This is clearly just a chunk of quartz that formed in the earth and was put into his jar to make this bunk video. Nothing of what he said is proper chemistry and there is absolutely nothing scientific about what he shows as his end result. He doesn't show his setup either and only describes it vaguely so there's no way of knowing what his actual method was here. All the hallmarks of a faked woo-woo video for new age hippies to fawn over. Total bullshit.
