Is that caused by some kind of lensing effect due to heat? Or is the landscape just sharply curved?
I think it's a valley, so it's a long down hill followed by a long uphill. Also it's a sort of forced perspective. The camera is sitting up high and pointing down slightly so that there is only landscape and no sky.
Yeah, I was thinking something like that, still looks like a crazy angle though. Could be something to do with the lens they're using.
It's curved I believe. I've heard it's a very scary drive. Don't run out of gas or break down or you're dead meat
The middle bit looks like an oven, I feel for the guys who built it and whoever has to do maintainence.
Any idea of the name? I'd love to see what that incline is actually like, it looks almost 30 degrees.
