From the post:

>Intel's promised $28 billion semiconductor project in central Ohio has been delayed again, this time by several years. The chipmaker told The Dispatch late Thursday that its first factory in the Licking County portion of New Albany would not be completed until 2030 and would begin operations sometime shortly thereafter in either 2030 or 2031— a sign of just how much remains in flux despite the company's commitment to its Ohio One operation.

We were really hoping it would turn into something good, but the naysayers were right. Chances are this won't ever do anything at this point. 2031 is a long way away in a world where technology is changing on a daily basis. TSMC will long since have their package plant up and running by then.

Exactly. 2031 might as well be 100 years from now in terms of tech.

DeWino must be getting fat from all of the copium and hopium he's sucking down these days.

DeWino is selling the leftover copium and hopium to the unwashed. At least once a week there is some progress report on how great it is and how it's going to save Ohio despite Intel THEMSELVES saying it's an overflow facility that will be staffed by workers brought in from OUTSIDE Ohio.

30 to 40 jobs created after it's built. Most of them will be security guards.

That’s too bad. Would have been good for Ohio
