Been getting a lot of wasps in the bedroom and master bath over the past week. I have a little makita stick vac that I have been just sucking them up with. They are not dying! The vacuum has a clear body so I can see them running around in there and they are just gathering up in a big cluster and feeding off each others hate. It's very weird. I don't want to shoot wasp spray into my vacuum because I don't want it to stink every time I use it. I wonder how long they will live.

Vacuum up a little bit of diatomaceous earth so that it coats them well in the dust collection chamber. That stuff causes micro-lacerations on their bodies and they will die from dehydration sooner than if you just left them alone.

Oh man, that's a great idea! I'm going to try that next time.
