I’m new to living in the country. I see so many different insects. What is this? I am clearing brush and this was climbing on my truck. There was another one on the other side. Seems like some kind of snail or slug or something? Again, I’m from the city. I know nearly nothing about outdoor stuff.

I had one fall out of a tree and down the front of my shirt. I immediately began itching and in less than five minutes my bosom and belly were covered in huge welts. It didn't last long, but it sure was creepy.
