I will definitely be giving it a try. It will likely turn out like crap on my first try, but if it looks decent on a full tie without an accompanying vest then I'll keep working at it to get it to look right like you did.

The frustrating part is you have to end up with just the right amount of main tie (so it ends at the right length) and the tail (which gets tucked up into the collar - so thick ties don't pull this off as well).
