This was an amazing record.

The CD box was made out of cardboard instead of a jewel case so it wouldn't fit in a CD rack. Nice. Danzig III was like that, too. Downward Spiral was cardboard too? I don't want to talk about that record here

CDs were pretty cool just in the concept at the time. So NIN Broken was an EP with two extra tracks that came on a mini-CD in a little cardboard sleeve. Even though all the tracks would have fit like 3 times over on the CD alone.

Then there was a remix album, Fixed, that was also in a cardboard case.

Now, here is the thing: The Broken EP came in a 3-fold cardboard CD case. It had flaps that opened left, right, and up. The fixed CD case was a two-fold. If you combined the two CD cases next to each other they made a cross .

Broken. Fixed.
