I taped this song off the radio the day it premiered on KNAC, the local metal radio station
The next day we ditched school and were going to drive out to Hollywood. It was raining and as we headed west on Route 66 I passed this tape to the driver and told him to throw it on.
We were doing about 60 when the car hydroplaned. We drifted into oncoming traffic, the driver over corrected sending us into a spin. After about three spins we hit the telephone pole, severing it. Every window exploded into glass shrapnel as we slid down the embankment into the riverbed. We climbed from the wreckage of twisted bloody metal and glass and stumbled through the mud and rain away from the dangling power lines.
Jesus Built My Hotrod was still playing on the car stereo
Haha, epic tale. I don't doubt it either. KNAC was the shit, San Diego was always cooler than LA.
