This will only affect people with enough wealth that they can simply ignore property that they own. You can't just walk in and claim squatters rights. There is a time frame and not all states allow it. It's Adverse possession and the minimum time frame for any state is 5 years. You don't have to go through an eviction process with the courts. You may still have to go to court but unless the timeframe has passed you do not need to "evict". The news stories aren't to show "us" the atrocities, the news stories are for the immigrants.
