Paris is an absolute shit hole. I attended a conference there and made the mistake of relying on public transportation - not a good idea if you don't like blood and vomit. Many of the areas it passed through to get to my destination resembled Africa moreso than anything French. They stink too, and Paris is full of trash (human and otherwise).
