The US Govt neglecting its duty to heal the emotionally wounded returning veterans created this situation. Dems despise Vets (unless they are claiming stolen valor for themselves), the GOPe could care less about Vets unless it impacts their chance to get elected. Neither party truly supports Vets beyond a photo op.
